Learn geometry nodes series #1 find objects
this tutorial shows you how to create a track to constraint like behavior in geometry nodes, basically make objects point to other objects
video tutorial:
steps:
get the location of the target object and subtract the locators location since we are using geometry nodes we can use the position node for the locators location and the object info node’s location output for the location of the target object, we can align the euler or rotation of the locators object to the resultant vector.
geometry nodes does not have a rotate geometry instance so we are going to cheat by converting the geometry into an instance and then using the rotate instances node to align the locator using the rotation from the align euler to vector node
